The 20th century is regarded as the age of technologica break through in education . With the invention of computers great education scoles have been created – the thing that made a push forward in the right direction to the extent that many countries have established governmental programs to introduce computers into schools including all levels of education . Besides , these programs are incorporated into life activities . Therefore , educationalists should design educational programs and step towards functioning them in educational process . The problem : The problem of the research can be termed in the following empirical Question . How far is the computer -assisted individual learning effective in developing some Mathematics creative thinking abilities? This question leads to the following various questions : A) What is the effect of using computer assisted individual learning in Mathematics achievement? B) What is the relationship between creative thinking and teaching Mathematics with computer assisted ? C)What is the relationship between creative thinking and achievement in the light of computer – assisted individualized learning ? The aim of the research : The research aims at : -Designing a computer assisted individualized learning program and studying its effectiveness in developing creativity in Geometry . The Significance of the research The significance of the research emerges from the following : 1-Extracting bases and standards that are to be taken into consideration during designing and producing educational computer programs. 2-The application of these standards in designing computer-Assisted individualized Learning program. 3-Reaching an educational system which leads to the development of creative thinking. 4- Applying systems approach in developing computer –Assisted learning Research Limitations: The research is limited at the following : 1-Place Limitations : The research has been applied on a sample from Demietta boys prep school 2-Subject limitations: Three geometrical units from first year prep text Book have been selected. 3-Time limitations: the research has been applied in 1999-2000 . Research sample: A random sample of first year prep stage students has been selected . The sample consists of 60 students who have been divided into two equal groups ; a traditional group and an empirical one. Research Procedures: The research has followed the following procedures: 1-Finding bases and criteria for designing computer –Assisted individual learning program to develop creative thinking . These researcher consult the following A) The emperical and theoritical Researches and studies B)The jury‘ s and specialists” views of the field 2- The translation of this criteria in terms of designing a proposed program . 3- Undertaking an analysis study of some models of designing learning like ; Margreet Hail , Kemp 1978 ,Cecicl& Ann Merce1981,Ahmed Mansour 1986 , A bd Elateef – ELgazear 1992 ,ASURE 1993 . 4- Choosing three geometrical units from first year prep . textbook They are conceptions , definitions , angels and parallelism . 5- The researcher designed a model which is confined in five stage : A-Study and analysis . B- Design. C- production . D- Recognition . E- Application . 6- The application of The proposed program individually on a random sample of four school student to reach a program recognition. Results: 1-There are Statistically Significant differences at .,0001 level between the means of achievement scores of both the traditional and experimental groups in favor of the experiment at group 2-There are Statistically significant differences at .,0001 level between the means of Creative Thinking scores of both the traditional and experiment groups . 3-There is Statistically significant relationship between the means of the post scores of achievement and Creative Thinking of the experimental group
