The proposed program takes the following into consideration:
- KAU human resources and technical and professional potentials in the framework of its need for a major program that prepares the international students for learning Arabic as a foreign language.
- Students’ need at national and international levels for more programs of teaching Arabic to speakers of other languages adopting the scientific, linguistic and educational bases needed for designing such programs.
- The nature, mission and tasks of the academic institution.
